Funerals
On behalf of the Parish Community of Saints Felicitas and Perpetua, we would like to extend our deepest sympathy at the loss of your loved one. Please know that we are here to help you and support you during this difficult time. Please call the Office (626-796-0432) and ask for Fr. Paul or Sr. Mary Ann to schedule your funeral.

We will assist you in the planning of the Funeral Mass, and suggest ways for family and friends to be personally involved.  All aspects of the Funeral Mass, especially the selection of Music, is subject to church and liturgical guidelines (see links on right). 

The scripture readings listed below are commonly used at Catholic Funeral Rites.  They are beautiful passages of comfort, peace, and hope.

We invite you to reflect on the following Scripture passages and select one for each of the following portions of the Liturgy of the Word (download the readings below):
  • First Reading: select one from A-1 through A-6 (during the Easter Season, from AA-1 to AA-3) -- see link on right
