Altar Servers

Students in 5th through 8th grade are allowed to be Altar Servers (special permission for a mature fourth grader may be given by the Pastoral Associate.) The rectory directs the training of the servers and develops the serving schedule. In order to participate, conduct grades may not be lower than a B-. Altar Servers should strive to be an example through their good effort and conduct, and exhibit a cooperative and zealous performance in their duties. When, for a good reason, they are unable to serve an assigned Mass, they should make every effort to obtain a substitute. An appreciation luncheon is given at the end of the year to students who participate. |
